About us
JMK International school was established in the year 2000, under the dynamic leadership of Shri Ravindra lal Kuthiala . Sh. Ravindra Lal Kuthiala of Kuthiala House, Hoshiarpur, comes from an old respectable family of Kuthialas and Soods, a leading business community of Punjab, a great philanthropist; he donated large sums to the cause of educational institutes, hospitals, and public welfare.
From a promising beginning, the school has progressed to become an educational institution par excellence .Now the command of the school is in the capable hands of young and robust Ms. Tanya Sood the Director of the School .It was surely not a cakewalk to become one of the best C.B.S.E school in the city . This became possible only because of the visionary managing committee, the astounding Principal and the dedicated faculty of the school towards the cause of education. Since its inception, it has constantly been working for the betterment of the student community with the most earnest and honest efforts so as to make them feel proud to be the Best school.
J.M.K International School Pathankot set on the banks of the River Chakki. The students are treated to a visual panorama of the immense Dhauladhars as they enter the school every morning. It is a co – educational school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and offers to its students Humanities, Science and Commerce.
The school campus has not only spacious class but also a huge playground that offers precious moments of fun, joy, thrill and competition to the students that leave an indelible imprint on the young minds which they cherish forever. Vision
Vision of the school is to instill in each child a sense of inquisitiveness and exploration and an urge for experimentation, observation and synthesis. We endeavor to free the learning process from the confines of the four walls of the classrooms and take it further to activity workshops, laboratories and library. HISTORY & ORIGIN
From a very humble beginning in 2001, the school has come a long way today to stand tall and proud in constant consonance with the demands of this age of burgeoning e-revolution. It has moved from black boards to electronic white boards, TV screens and LCD projectors in classes.
With over 1000 students,60 teachers and a support staff of about 35, J.M.K International School Pathankot is conducive to the growth of its teachers as well as students. J.M.K International school has a fully functional and well equipped Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Social Science laboratories.

Water is symbolized by water and fish.”To inspire, challenge and achieve” is the motto of the house. It inspires us to be full of compassion and love and to have faith as deep as the oceans. It is represented by the color white

Staff
Each staff member imbibes the JMK International School Pathankot culture and ethos, which is the thread that binds the entire teaching fraternity of the JMK Society. This academic community not only imparts instruction through the regular teaching periods, it also engages students in a variety of other ways whether it is to conduct the morning assembly, bring out school publications, arrange and participate in cultural shows, or just simply arrange visits to various places.
The faculty undergoes intensive training while on the job. The challenges of modern education are met at all levels by the staff. A unidirectional teaching method is being increasingly substituted by a multidirectional group workshop method. Here the teacher becomes the group coordinator initiating work, nurturing students without the phobia of examinations and homework. Development of oral and written expression is emphasized upon in the classrooms. Home assignments are not a carry-over of class work but oriented towards honing individual talents.
Smart Classes
The growing use of technology is changing the face of almost all the areas it is touching. The world of education has also not been left untouched the integration of technology, smart classrooms being an extension of the same. J.M.K realized this and was the first ones to introduce smart classes in the city to give students a well rounded educational experience .
Smart classrooms are equipped with the most modern educational technology , including visualizers, interactive whiteboards, amplifiers, speakers, podiums, microphones and much more.
